NPCA Announces Seminars and Guide on Product Labeling
WASHINGTON — The National Paint & Coatings Association (NPCA) has announced dates and locations for its Product Labeling Seminar, planned to coincide with the publication of the NPCA’s Industry Labeling Guide (Fifth Edition). Seminars are scheduled for June 14, 2000, in Portland, Ore., and November 14, 2000, in Rosemont, Ill.
Topics include step-by-step practices for identifying “appropriate hazard warnings;” a review of labeling requirements for consumer and industrial products; labeling for wood preservatives and other products claiming pesticide properties, and for products that contain registered pesticides; and commercial-practice labeling. New topics to be covered include labeling practices for adhesive, sealant and caulk products, and an overview of labeling requirements for Canada, Mexico and the European Union.
