HOUSTON — The National Associ-ation of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) International, the Corrosion Society and The Society for Protective Coatings have recently published a new joint technical report on wet-abrasive blast cleaning.
This technical report is to be used primarily by specifiers, painting
contractors, inspectors and others involved in surface preparation of industrial structures. It covers procedures, equipment and materials involved in a variety of air/water/abrasive, water/abrasive and water-pressurized blast-cleaning systems. The report also discusses equipment usage and safety guidelines.
