MAPEI recently announced its Tempe, Ariz., facility has been certified by OSHA’s Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP).
“We are extremely proud of our employees and our safety record,” said Al Fornaro, Unit Manager for the Arizona operation. “When we were notified of our certification by the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health, Director Bill Warren gave us some startling facts that emphasized the significance of our accomplishment. He said there are 158,000 employers in Arizona, but only 26, including MAPEI, have achieved certification by the SHARP program.”
