Nynas Makes Investment in Sustainable Production at Refinery in Gothenburg
The Gothenburg site manager reports that the investment is one of the largest since the refinery's start in 1956.
Nynas recently announced that it is investing SEK 190 million (approximately $22.2 million) to secure reliable production at its refinery in Gothenburg, Sweden. At the same time, the facility's new, more efficient heating furnaces will lead to a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions of 34%.
"This is one of the refinery's largest investments since the start in 1956 and a decisive investment for the refinery's future," said Anna Keereweer, site manager.
