“I knew from an early age that I was more than just interested in science. By age 6, I was doing chemistry experiments with household chemicals, and this led to a Ph.D. in chemistry and a 40-year career (still going strong) as a chemist and consultant.”

“I just wish that it paid more than it does. Being a research chemist is the lowest paid actual profession there is. Everyone expects you to work for the ‘betterment of society,’ which means for nothing or close to it!”
