Scientists in the medical industry continue to look at surgical adhesives to be used in place of stitches, and the researchers at the University of Sydney, Harvard Medical School, and Northeastern University may have found a promising solution with MeTro.  The elasticity of the materials used in this injectable glue allow for it to expand and contract without breaking open. Being tested on animals, both externally and internally, researchers have found that the glue can conform to any irregular shape of wound.
