ASC Announces Speakers at Spring Convention

The Adhesive and Sealant Council, Inc. (ASC) has announced the following featured speakers for its 2005 Spring Convention and Exposition, scheduled for April 17-20 at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, OH.

  • Roger D. Blackwell, professor of Marketing at The Ohio State University
  • Fred Peterson, president of Probe Economics Inc.
  • Landy Chase, sales and marketing trainer, speaker and author

The convention will feature a two-and-a-half-day conference program, networking events, and the industry's largest exposition of raw materials, equipment, and service providers. Educational sessions have either a business or technical focus; a sample of presentation topics includes next-generation silicones, dispensing-equipment innovations, specialty-tape trends, green-building initiatives, industry collaboration and the impact of end users on the adhesive and sealant industry.

The Caulks & Sealants Short Course will be held concurrently with the convention on Sunday, April 17, and Monday, April 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Waterborne Non-Technical Short Course will be co-located with the convention, taking place from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 17. The ASC, in cooperation with the ASC Waterborne Committee, developed the course to provide basic information on waterborne technologies. The course is designed for those involved in or entering into non-technical areas of the adhesive & sealant industry, such as sales and marketing personnel.

The exposition is scheduled to take place from 3-6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, with an Exhibitor Appreciation Reception from 5-6 p.m.
