MACtac's Application Nation Program Sweeps the Country

Digital media leader now offers vehicle wrap application training.

For those looking to expand their application expertise, MACtac®, a leader in quality, service and digital media, has teamed up with Rob Ivers, a leader in digital media application for vehicle wrap installation, to bring Application NationTM training classes to a number of U.S. locations throughout 2007 and into 2008. These introductory courses are designed to educate, inspire and give attendees the tools they need to apply cutting-edge vehicle wraps with ease.

Attendees receive hands-on instruction in vehicle wrap application.

“Customers and installers have driven the demand for Application Nation - it is truly a destination for those who want to expand their portfolio of knowledge to include one of the fastest-growing, bubble-free products on the market,” said Rick Moore, director of Marketing, MACtac Graphic Products. “Rob Ivers is renowned as a great educator for vehicle wrap training, and we are very excited to partner with him in providing this unique opportunity to individuals who want to broaden their perspective.”

Application Nation sessions are two-day events comprised of MACtac digital media training, design theory, surface preparation techniques and special training for applications over flat, riveted, and complex curves. Upon completion, attendees receive certification for having taken the course.

Application Nation sessions have already taken place in Stow, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Taylors, SC; Columbus, OH; Orlando, FL; and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The only remaining 2007 date is scheduled for Orlando, FL, Nov. 14-15. Dates for next year have yet to be determined.

“Application Nation is just one element of MACtac’s commitment to providing customers with a forum to learn, discuss and take the industry to a whole new level of creativity and excellence,” Moore said. “As Application Nation takes hold, we have other great ideas to export the movement, and will have more details soon.”
