“Silicon Compounds: Silanes & Silicones, 5000A” is a new handbook that introduces over 250 new compounds and nearly 50 new polymers, including silanes for coupling agent applications and new functional and non-functional dipodal structures.

The handbook contains information on silanes for coupling agent applications with new functional and non-functional dipodal structures; silanes for hydrophilic surface treatment with a greater range of PEG substitution; new silanes for cross-coupling applications in organic synthesis; silanes and silicones for “click chemistry,” including new azide and acetylene functional silanes; volatile carbosilane and oligosilanes for semiconductor applications; symmetric and dual-functional macromers for biomaterials and microfluidics; liquid silsesquioxane T-resins for high-temperature coatings; and silanes and silicones with high refractive index (RI) and chromogenic properties.
