127-50 is a new electrically conductive/resistive hydro-active ink and coating. The conductivity of this product is reportedly variable depending upon the humidity in the environment, i.e., the conductivity increases as the humidity increases.

Typical applications include printing of electronic moisture-sensing elements, printed water-level monitoring, selective grounding, and the monitoring of sweat in wearable devices. This electrically conductive ink can be used with CMI’s 127-48D dielectric ink and 127-48LR carbon ink in the design of a complete flexible moisture-sensing device. Used in combination with CMI’s 127-48 series products, 127-50 allows for machine washing.  127-50 can be printed by various methods, including screen printing, syringe dispensing, dipping or spraying.
