AMETEK Inc. has named Harold Preben Caroe vice president and general manager of the Test and Calibration Instruments Division (TC&I). Caroe, who joined AMETEK in 2000 as Sales and Marketing director for AMETEK Denmark, was made general manager of AMETEK Denmark in 2001 and was promoted in 2003 to division vice president with responsibility for the Test & Calibration Instruments Division's European operations. AMETEK TC&I markets calibration and specialty materials testing products and systems under the JOFRA, LLOYD INSTRUMENTS, CHATILLON, and DAVENPORT brand names, and has manufacturing operations in Fareham, UK, and Largo, FL.
