MoreW. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — James C. Myers has been named to the Board of Directors for 1999 for the American Society for Testing and Materials.
Myers is an associate with Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. of Arlington, Mass., and San Francisco. He joined ASTM Committee C-24 on Building Seals and Sealants in 1986. He was elected as chairman of the committee in 1994, after serving a two-year term as vice chairman. He is presently the chairman of C-24’s Executive Subcommittee and has also chaired Subcommittee C24.02 on Research and Liaison from 1992 to 1994. His fellow members recognized him with the ASTM Committee C-24 Sealants Hall of Fame Award in 1996 and previously awarded him the Certificate of Appreciation in 1992.
