Eastman Announces Senior Management, Organizational Changes

KINGSPORT, Tenn.- Eastman Chemical Co. has announced changes in its senior management ranks and the realignment of responsibilities within some organizations.

James P. Rogers, senior vice president and chief financial officer for Eastman Chemical Co. and chief operations officer for Eastman Division, will be appointed executive vice president for Eastman Chemical Co. and to the newly created position of president of Eastman Division effective with the hiring of a new CFO. The company anticipates naming the new CFO in the first quarter of 2003.

In addition, Dr. Gregory O. Nelson has been appointed senior vice president and chief technology officer for Eastman Chemical Co., effective Jan. 1, 2003. In this post, he will serve on the company’s senior leadership team. Nelson is currently vice president and chief technology officer for Eastman Division.
