Lubrizol Purchases Dock Resins

CLEVELAND — The Lubrizol Corp. has purchased Dock Resins Corp. from Landec Corp. Dock Resins develops, manufactures and sells proprietary polymers including acrylic, methacrylic, alkyd and polyester resins. Dock Resins is based in Linden, N.J., with 46 employees and annual sales of approximately $13 million.

Commenting on the acquisition, Don Bogus, Lubrizol vice president, Fluid Technologies for Industry, said, “The acquisition of specialty resins technology, in combination with our existing products, will enable us to grow our business by offering new options to our coatings and inks customers. Dock Resins’ high-quality products, market knowledge and customer relationships will help us move forward to achieve our goal of becoming a premier, global supplier of specialty products and services to the coatings and inks market.”
