MoreEmerald Kalama Chemical, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, has appointed Shamsi P.Gravel as product line manager for its K-Flex® Plasticizers. Ms. Gravel will be responsible for leading all commercial aspects of the product line, including the R&D, sales, and support functions.
Prior to joining Emerald, Ms. Gravel served The ChemQuest Group as a senior consultant specializing in the coatings, adhesives, resins and polymer industries. She also held various business and technical roles at Bostik-Findley and National Starch.
Ms. Gravel obtained a B.S. and M.S. degree in chemical engineering from Villanova and Rutgers respectively, and an MBA from Boston University.
