H.B. Fuller Co., St. Paul, Minn., a worldwide manufacturer and marketer of specialty chemicals, has turned to ChemConnect Inc. to expand its online strategic sourcing and sales initiatives. ChemConnect, a leading online marketplace that helps customers optimize their purchasing and sales processes for chemical feedstocks, chemicals, plastics and related products, will help streamline H.B. Fuller’s business processes, lower costs, extend its reach to new markets, and access timely and reliable market information.

“We have made it our mission to be an industry leader in e-business. About half of our North American sales have been converted to our e-stores and more than 70 percent of our purchasing activities happen online,” said Ed Snyder, H.B. Fuller Co. vice president, Global Sourcing.
