Lightnin Acquires Premier Mill

Premier Mill was acquired by Lightnin.

READING, Pa. — Premier Mill Corp. was acquired by Lightnin, a unit of SPX Corp. Lightnin, headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., manufactures industrial fluid mixers and has a worldwide network of distributors, licensees and representatives, with affiliated companies in the United Kingdom, Australia, China and Singapore.

Premier Mill is an important part of Lightnin’s overall growth strategy and will be instrumental in expanding the company’s collective sales and market share in the worldwide chemical, paint, ink and coatings markets.

Premier Mill’s products are a strong complement to the line of equipment at Lightnin’s Cox’s Machinery unit located in the United Kingdom, which makes milling, blending and mixing equipment.

Premier Mill will continue to operate with its existing workforce in Reading, Pa., and will be led by General Manager Myron Segal.
