This company has introduced three new reactive urethane hot melts to its line of PROFORM™ adhesives. PROFORM 3630, 3631 and 3632 are 100-percent solid, single-component, structural reactive urethane hot melts that behave like standard hot melts until they are partially set. By reacting with moisture to crosslink, reactive urethanes form a new polyurethane polymer, which provides higher strength and flexibility than traditional hot melts. As they are heat-resistant, they can be used in heat-sensitive applications. This technology also offers higher adhesion and greater chemical resistance than conventional hot melts.
