MoreGlobal specialty chemicals manufacturer Sartomer Co. has named Adam Oppenstein senior technical sales representative for the U.S. western region. In this position, Oppenstein is responsible for sales and technical support for all Sartomer products in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. He reports to John Grozak, western regional sales manager.
Oppenstein joins Sartomer after spending five years with Becker Specialty Corp. (Fontana, CA) as account manager servicing the western U.S. and Mexico. He also served seven years with BASF (Colton, CA), with responsibility for technical service and development.
Oppenstein earned a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Miami, as well as a master’s of science in chemistry from Pennsylvania State University. He is currently a member of Mt. San Antonio College's (Walnut, CA) adjunct faculty for the department of chemistry.
