TAH RECEIVES PATENT ON STATIC MIXER

TAH Industries Inc. has announced that the U.S. Patent Office has issued patent number 6,773,156 for its Turbo disposable, square-geometry static mixer. When comparing the Turbo to other square mixer designs, the patent office examined geometries and determined the Turbo is a unique and patentable design. TAH's geometry uses "flow inverters" to channel the fluids from the walls into the center of the mixer. In addition, the "wedge" design eliminates stagnant areas where adhesives can build up and prematurely plug the mixer. The square geometry ensures superior mixing performance and allows the operator to be closer to the work piece for more accurate applications. Features include: consistent high-quality mixing; improved service life compared to competitive square mixers; available inlet options; and more. The Turbo disposable mixer is available in 18, 24 and 36 element configurations.
