VINAMUL POLYMERS: POLYMER EMULSION

Vinamul Polymers, a division of National Starch and Chemical Co., has introduced a new copolymer emulsion that improves dirt and particulate retention, and imparts high wet strength and soft hand-feel in nonwoven products. DUR-O-SET Elite PLUS (25-299A) is a self-crosslinking ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion that acts as a "dirt magnet" to attract and hold soil during wiping. In addition, the product is compatible with cationic binder formulations and fabric lotion additives, such as quaternary ammonium chlorides. DUR-O-SET Elite PLUS copolymer emulsion is one of four new products that Vinamul Polymers will be featuring and demonstrating at its exhibit booth (#3165) at the International Engineered Fabrics Conference & Expo (IDEA 04) on April 27-29, 2004, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, FL.
