White Lightning®, a provider of high-performing caulks and sealants, has announced the addition of MaXimusTM All-Purpose Paintable Polymer Sealant, a premium, paintable polymer sealant, to its line of all-purpose caulks and sealants. MaXimus is a hybrid sealant that combines the performance characteristics of silicone and polyurethane with the paintability of a latex caulk in one solvent-free, non-yellowing formula.

Commonly applied at openings around doors, windows, trim, siding and countertops, MaXimus can be spray-painted immediately after application without hurting the bead of sealant, and brush-painted after a wait time of approximately two hours. Under moderate temperatures and humidity, MaXimus will reach full cure within 24 to 48 hours.

MaXimus offers superior adhesion and flexibility. MaXimus is flexible enough to expand and contract in response to warm or cold temperatures and humidity without cracking or breaking its seal. MaXimus is resistant to mildew growth, features low odor, low VOCs and superior durability with a lifetime guarantee.

MaXimus is available at Sherwin-Williams store locations nationwide.
