Krayden Inc., a leading distributor of engineered materials, has been named 2008 Distributor of the Year by the Dow Corning Americas Electronics Channel Team. The company was also honored with GOLD level status for 2008.

This is the third year since program inception that Krayden has earned GOLD level performance. The company achieved the award by gaining the highest number of points on the 2008 Performance Tracking Tool, which measures the contributions of Electronics Material Distributors toward Dow Corning North America Electronics Distribution goals.

“We have worked hard to change the way distribution is valued by our suppliers and customers,” said Wayne Wagner, Krayden’s President. “This award - and the previous three years of being a GOLD level performer - shows that we are on the right path. The award encompasses all aspects of distribution performance. I do have to admit we may be at an advantage since Krayden, Inc. has never been about having the most product lines. In the end, the customer and supplier need a distributor who can represent their needs and products from a technical aspect as well as from a logistic standpoint. To me, that is more of what this award measures.”
