FRANKLIN INTERNATIONAL BEGINS ADHESIVE PRODUCTION IN CHINA (4/9/08)

Franklin International, a Columbus, OH-based manufacturer of glues, adhesives and sealants, has launched a new company and plant in Guangzhou to be closer to an increasing number of customers in China and the Pacific Rim.
The wholly owned foreign enterprise, Franklin (Guangzhou) Adhesives Co. Ltd., will produce emulsion-based adhesives developed for furniture assembly. Future production will also include Franklin's Titebond adhesives for the construction industry.
Franklin Guangzhou, Franklin’s only manufacturing facility outside the U.S., plans to start distributing product by May 1.
