2025 ASI Top 20: Leading Global Adhesives and Sealants Manufacturers
July 7, 2025Each year, ASI publishes its Top 20 list of leading adhesive and sealant manufacturers, featuring key data for finished adhesives, sealants, and related products such as tapes and labels.
To compile the list, we research top global manufacturers and evaluate sales, mergers and acquisitions, major initiatives, and product details. Our rankings are based on data from annual reports, websites, press releases, company contacts, and other reliable sources. When relevant information was unavailable, companies were removed from the list.
For 2024, many companies on this list saw an increase in sales compared to 2023. Generally, these were modest increases, with a few standouts that saw more significant increases. The year presented many interesting challenges for the adhesives and sealants industry that are in line with issues faced by the larger chemicals industry. These challenges included continued supply chain disruptions, caused in part by geo-political unrest and change. Uncertainty was also caused by factors such as continued shifts in policy and regulations within many regions of the world, evolving macroeconomic conditions, and changes in customer demand.
The most recent studies that estimate the value of the global adhesives and sealants industry expect the market to show healthy growth for the next five years. Demand drivers within the adhesives and sealants industry include the increasing use of adhesives to bond dissimilar materials and the substitution of traditional fastening technologies with adhesives. Also impacting the industry is robust growth in the building and construction, packaging, and automotive sectors. In particular, the ongoing boom in construction in countries such as China, India, and Brazil is increasing demand for both adhesives and sealants.
Globally, the adhesive and sealant industry is expected to see continued growth in the emerging economies in Asia and South America, as well as steady growth in North America and Europe. Pivotal market trends projected by market research firms include the shift toward lightweight, multi-material applications (notably in automotive and aerospace); rising demand for low‑VOC and bio‑based formulations driven by environmental regulations; and ongoing innovation in formulation technologies enhancing strength, flexibility, and durability.

Editor’s note: The ASI Top 20 is based, in part, on publicly available financial information, including annual sales/revenue, along with details supplied by company contacts and other sources. Information was verified whenever possible, but adhesives/sealants-related details have been estimated in some cases. In other cases, details for privately held companies have been withheld on request. Financial figures are generally rounded, and the timing of currency conversions may impact specific figures/results.
