2025 ASI Top 20: DELO Industrial Adhesives

July 6, 2025

DELO produces industrial adhesives for automotive, consumer electronics and semicon applications, as well as dispensing and curing equipment. The company’s total sales for its fiscal 2025 year (ended March 31, 2025) reached €245 million ($265 million), a 7% increase compared to the previous year.

For the 2025 fiscal year, DELO reports the fastest growing markets were Brazil and India. Asia remains the company’s largest region, as it accounts for 56% of DELO revenue in fiscal 2024. Asia was followed by Europe, which accounted for 29% of the company’s fiscal 2024 revenue, with the Americas accounting for 15%. For fiscal 2024, the company saw key growth in the semiconductor, automotive, consumer electronic, and medical electronic sectors. Since high R&D expenditures are part of the company's strategy, the company again invested approximately 15% of revenues in research and development for fiscal 2024.

Brands in DELO’s portfolio include the following: DELO DUALBOND (dual-curing adhesives and sealants), DELOLUX (UV-curing lamps), and DELO-DOT (jet-dispensing valves).

"In the past fiscal year, we faced short-term planning from our clients, accompanied by significant volatility, reflecting their uncertainties about market trends," said Dr. Wolf Herold, managing partner of DELO. "Despite feeling the impact of Germany's struggling automotive industry, we successfully mitigated this with our strategic regional and sectoral diversification and robust growth in previously smaller markets like Brazil and India."

NOTES: DELO is expanding manufacturing in Malaysia, with land secured near Kuala Lumpur and construction planning underway. At its Windach, Germany headquarters, the company completed a fully automated 65,000-square-foot warehouse set to begin operations by early 2026 and is building a new corporate forum and lab, both featuring rooftop solar installations. Last year, 4,000 solar modules generated enough power for about 430 households. DELO's workforce grew to 1,160, with plans to reach 1,200 employees in the 2025/26 fiscal year.
