As of 2025, Avery Dennison Corporation employs approximately 35,000 people across more than 100 manufacturing and distribution facilities in over 50 countries. The company is a global leader in materials science and digital identification solutions, offering products such as labeling and functional materials, RFID inlays and tags, and software applications that connect the physical and digital worlds. These solutions serve a variety of industries, including home and personal care, apparel, general retail, e-commerce, logistics, food and grocery, pharmaceuticals, and automotive. In 2024, international operations constituted approximately 70% of the company’s net sales.
Avery Dennison Corporation reported net sales of approximately $8.76 billion for the fiscal year 2024, marking a 4.7% increase from $8.36 billion in 2023. The company's operations are divided into two primary business segments:
Materials Group: This segment encompasses pressure-sensitive label materials, graphic and reflective materials, and functional bonding materials such as tapes. In 2024, the Materials Group generated net sales of approximately $6.01 billion, up from $5.81 billion in 2023, accounting for about 69% of the total sales.
Solutions Group: This segment offers RFID solutions, branding and embellishment solutions, data management and identification solutions, and pricing and productivity solutions. In 2024, the Solutions Group reported net sales of approximately $2.74 billion, an increase from $2.55 billion in 2023, representing about 31% of the total sales.
Avery Dennison's product portfolio includes well-known brands such as Fasson®, JAC®, and Avery Dennison® for pressure-sensitive label materials and performance tapes. Additionally, the company offers Yongle®-brand tapes, which are utilized for wire harnessing and cable wrapping applications.
NOTES: In April 2025, Avery Dennison Corp. announced the opening of its first RFID inlays and labels production facility in Pune, India, supporting the "Make in India" initiative and RFID technology growth in South Asia. This site makes Avery Dennison the first ARC-certified company to manufacture RFID inlays in India.
