PILOT CHEMICAL CO. ACQUIRES THE BUSINESS OF INTERTRADE HOLDINGS INC. (4/7/08)

Pilot Chemical recently executed agreements to acquire the business aspects of Intertrade Holdings Inc. Intertrade is a chemical manufacturer of sulfonated products located in Copperhill, TN. With this acquisition, Pilot adds several complementary products to its existing product base.

As a result of the transaction, Pilot now offers the following products in bulk and packaged quantities: Sulfonate AA10 (sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate); SADPO (sulfonated alkyl diphenyl oxide, sodium salt); Sulfornate OA-5R (sulfonated oleic acid, sodium salt); Sulfonic 800 (sulfonated oleic acid); Sulfonate OE-500 (sulfonated oleic acid, N-Amylester, sodium salt); PTSA (para toluene sulfonic acid – anhydrous); PTSA 65% (para toluene sulfonic acid).
