Dow Automotive has received two corporate-wide certifications for quality and environmental management systems. The quality certification from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, Inc. (LRQA) encompasses all of Dow Automotive's globally owned assets and asset partners - more than 50 manufacturing and support sites worldwide. The corporate environmental certification, also from LRQA, presently covers 12 sites. Eleven additional environmental certifications are still stand-alone site certifications. Both certifications result from Dow Automotive's single integrated business management system. "The ISO/TS-16949 quality certification provides customers with the assurance that Dow Automotive is supplying materials from quality-certified manufacturing processes and can support work processes from any point within the Dow Automotive system," said Don Little, director of Business Management Systems. "All sites can provide outstanding efficiencies, quick response and consistent company-wide benefits."
