MoreEffective Feb. 2 or as contracts allow, the Synthetics Polymers group of Forbo Adhesives, LLC will increase prices for its vinyl acetate homopolymer and copolymer product lines by $0.02 per wet pound. This includes all Pace, Plyamul and Elvace tradename products sold into adhesive, construction product, nonwoven, carpet and textile applications in North America. The increase is necessitated by continuous cost escalations in key raw materials used in the production of these products. It is also being driven by higher logistics costs due to recent changes in transportation regulations.
