More3M, St. Paul, MN, recently announced its acquisition of the Rite-Lok global industrial adhesives product line from Chemence Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The complete Rite-Lok brand product line includes anaerobic threadlockers, retaining compounds, gasket makers, thread sealants, structural adhesives, and specialty cyanoacrylate instant adhesives for industrial uses.

In Sept. 2006, the company also announced plans to expand MDI production at its Estarreja, Portugal, site. These two projects are expected to significantly increase Dow’s global MDI capacity and support the future growth plans of Dow’s performance businesses.
