S.P. Morell and Co., a specialty chemicals distributor and manufacturers' representative of raw materials to the coating, ink, and adhesive industries, has appointed Yury Langer to their sales team. Langer graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the City University of New York, The City College School of Engineering, in 1986. He spent the next ten years working in various capacities for a specialty chemical manufacturer in Newark, NJ, where his responsibilities included production management, environmental and safety management, process scale-up, costing, and business development.
