Will China's recent move to allow more flexibility for its currency have a positive impact on the U.S. economy?

Will China's recent move to allow more flexibility for its currency have a positive impact on the U.S. economy?

Yes: 48%

No: 28%

Not sure: 24%

Comments:

“In the long run the Chinese currency should strengthen due to all of the manufacturing conducted there. This would make it less attractive to import so perhaps US based businesses would start building factories in the US again instead of locating them all over seas as they tend to do today.”

The impact will be over time, if congress will reduce the stupid EPA regs., mfg can be resumed. If congress does nothing, the trade imbalance will continue to grow. “
