Beyond the devastating environmental impact, the decreased feedstock levels and subsequent price increases resulting from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico will surely affect industry and consumers alike.



The explosion at the Deepwater Horizon oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico has resulted in massive quantities of oil spilling into the Gulf. As BP continues to try to put a stop to the spill, the full environmental impact will most likely not be fully known for years to come.
