Bemis Company, Inc. has named Peter R. Mathias president of MACtac, North America. Mathias will report to William F. Austen, president and CEO of MACtac, Bemis Company's global pressure sensitive materials business. Prior to joining Bemis, Mathias was president of the North American Food Packaging business of Alcan. In his new role, Mathias will be responsible for the recently restructured North American Pressure Sensitive Materials business and the implementation of its sales and profit growth strategy announced in October of 2003.
