MoreGarlock Sealing Technologies, Palmyra, NY, has appointed Tim Hurley senior product manager for its line of compression packing. In his new role, Hurley will be responsible for the global growth of the compression packing group through innovation, strategic accounts, OEMs and the existing MRO market.
Hurley has been with Garlock for 24 years, during which time he has successfully managed all product lines except compression packing. However, he previously worked as an engineer in compression packing, gaining valuable knowledge of the products, markets and applications.
Hurley holds a B.S. in marketing from the Rochester Institute of Technology and is pursuing his M.B.A. at the Crouse-Hinds School at the University of Syracuse.
