HENKEL CORP: Construction Adhesive

Henkel Corp. has introduced Loctite® Powergrab®, a heavy-duty construction adhesive that grabs instantly with nine times the initial holding power of traditional construction adhesives.

This adhesive may be repositioned within 15 minutes of application and will hold firmly in place until it cures. It eliminates the need for bracing, nailing and other fastening devices, saving time and money by allowing a single worker to complete many tasks. Featuring InstantGrabTM technology, PowerGrab can instantly hold a maximum vertical load of 20 lbs. per square foot on a porous surface.

PowerGrab is water-resistant and paintable, and bonds to both porous and non-porous materials including concrete, brick, wood, stainless steel, ceramic, tile, and most plastics. It meets or exceeds all relevant construction specifications (including ASTM D3498, AFG-01 and ASTM C557) and conforms to HUD UM60a.
