IPS Corp. Names Connolly Operations Director for WELD-ON (4/10/09)

 IPS Corporation has named Kevin Connolly director of operations for its WELD-ON® structural adhesives.

A chemical engineer, Connolly has worked in various engineering and operations positions in the paint, coatings and adhesives industries.  In his new post, he will be responsible for all phases of the day-to-day manufacturing operations for WELD-ON structural adhesive products.  He will be based in Durham, N.C.

Connolly earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Mercer University.

     IPS offers an extensive line of WELD-ON MMA structural adhesives for bonding thermoplastics, thermoset composites, gelcoats, plus a variety of metals. In addition, IPS produces a full line of WELD-ON solvent-, acrylic- and urethane-based adhesives used for bonding a variety of plastic substrates, such as acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS, and PVC.
