IPS plans immediate investment into UK-based Holdtite’s facilities and processes to implement the manufacturing and technical service models it has used in the U.S. Likewise, IPS will adopt the information systems currently used by Holdtite.
“This merger is driven by our mission to provide smarter adhesive solutions on a global scale to the markets we serve,” said John Reeves, president of IPS Structural Adhesives. “The product lines of the current companies have very little overlap, allowing us to synergistically expand our technology offering globally. Our customers value us as true solution providers and now we are able to enhance our abilities with a much broader technology platform. We are thrilled to be able to unite with Holdtite to better serve our customers.”
