MarChem Southeast, a major supplier of vinyl plastisols and urethane systems to large industrial customers in the Southeastern U.S. and overseas, has announced receipt of ISO 9001:2000, the highest level registration conferred for product quality. Norman Parker, executive vice president and general manager of the company, said the registration represents a worldwide quality benchmark that is crucial in facilitating international and domestic trade with customers. "ISO's newest and highest level international standard for product quality is critically important to our company and demonstrates the emphasis we place on manufacturing the highest quality products possible," Parker said. Parker noted that the ISO registration followed a rigorous and lengthy audit of the company's full range of operations. MarChem Southeast is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dash Multi-Corp., a St. Louis-headquartered, nationwide holding company with approximately $150 million in annual sales. Dash is composed of four groups: chemicals, textile/coating, recycled rubber and service. Two other Dash subsidiaries, MarChem Corp. and MarChem Northeast, Inc., have also received the ISO 9001:2000 registration.
