MOUVEX: Eccentric Disc Pumps

Mouvex® has announced the availability of A-Series Eccentric Disc Pumps designed to easily adapt to chemicals that are viscous, non-lubricating, volatile or delicate.

Mouvex®, a leading manufacturer of eccentric disc pumps and an operating company within Dover Corp.’s Pump Solutions Group (PSGTM), has announced the availability of A-Series Eccentric Disc Pumps designed to easily adapt to chemicals that are viscous, non-lubricating, volatile or delicate. Such applications are found in numerous chemical processing plants that manufacture products such as detergents, glues, inks and paints.

Mouvex’s A-Series pumps can meet these challenges through their eccentric-disc design, which results in exceptional self-priming and pipe-clearing capabilities, even when running dry. This eccentric-disc principle of operation, which includes an automatic make-up system, also allows the pumps to maintain their initial performance level without the need for adjustments.

Optional features include a double-bypass for protection when the pump is operating in both directions; a high-temperature HT model that enables product transfer up to 250°C (482°F); and heating or cold jackets for transferring products that can solidify at ambient temperatures. The A-Series is also ATEX certified and can run dry in such environments.
