The new Fill Sentry automated fill system automatically refills up to five hot melt units from a single adhesive supply source. The system enables operators to spend more time on other line responsibilities by eliminating a repetitive and time-consuming manual function. The system uses vacuum-pump technology and a single remote controller to convey a variety of adhesives through overhead vacuum and adhesive lines that connect the supply to the hot melt units. A special tube loader and vacuum valve at each fill station control the amount of adhesive delivered to each unit.
