Troy Corp.’s Newark, NJ, manufacturing facility was recently awarded the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Stewardship Award. This award is given to members of the regulated community who are engaged in positive activities that benefit the environment. The NJ DEP presented the award to Edward Capasso, corporate director of Environmental/Regulatory Affairs.

“Troy Corporation has continued its commitment to leading environmental stewardship by establishing a comprehensive environmental policy, creating and enforcing a rigorous environmental management system (EMS), and reducing its manufacturing and operational energy requirements through process improvements,” Capasso said.

The NJ DEP’s Environmental Stewardship Award recognizes businesses and corporations that go beyond the minimum requirements of existing rules and regulations.
