Dover Chemical Corp. has completed another phase of enhancements to its phosphite operations at its Dover, OH, facility. The improvements will increase Dover’s ability to supply all phosphites, including Doverphos® Hi Pure TNPP.

"Recent improvements to Dover’s phosphite operations enhance Dover’s ability to supply our customers with all liquid and solid phosphites,” said Dwain Colvin, president of Dover Chemical. “We have seen a dramatic increase in demand for Doverphos Hi Pure TNPP due to its ecological advantage in being very low in nonylphenol, a perceived environmentally sensitive molecule.”

"We believe that our regular TNPP is perfectly safe and is accepted globally as a food contact product, but Doverphos Hi Pure TNPP goes beyond the regulations and offers customers the closest product on the market to nonylphenol-free,” Colvin added.

Ohio-based Dover Chemical Corp. is a leading producer of polymer additives, liquid and solid chlorinated paraffins, liquid and solid antioxidants (including organophosphites), flame retardants, and additives for water-based or oil-based coatings and metalworking fluids. Technical expertise includes amides, imides, esters, sulfurized products, chlorination and lubricity. The company sells its products in North America from its headquarters location and globally through ICC Industries Inc.
