The MiniPUR system incorporates a lid configuration and integral inert gas supply connection not typically seen in tank melters to protect the PUR adhesive from moisture in the air that can cause premature curing. This protection reportedly preserves the integrity of the adhesives’ bonding properties and extends the adhesive tank life (the length of time the PUR can remain in the melter without needing to be purged).
