CHICAGO — The Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC) is sponsoring its annual technical seminar, TECH XXIII, May 3-5, 2000, at the Fairmont Hotel in New Orleans. The seminar, which features more than 19 technical papers, is the yearly industry event for suppliers and pressure sensitive adhesive tape manufacturers.

According to Roopram Ramharack, Ph.D., tesa tape, inc., and seminar chairman, the theme of the seminar, Pressure Sensitive Tapes for the New Millennium, has great meaning for the industry.

“As we progress into the next century, the need for bonding — stronger bonding — becomes even greater, said Ramharack. “In order for us to develop new products, we must be innovative, efficient and cost-conscious. Knowledge, and therefore knowledge management, are the keys. Those who master the generation, archiving, retrieval and use of knowledge will be the winners. PSTC’s technical conference offers everyone the opportunity to gain new knowledge,” he added.

This year, the seminar features a Poster Session on Wednesday evening. This session provides attendees an opportunity to present their research and ideas in an informal, discussion-group environment. Interested parties should contact PSTC Executive Vice President Glen Anderson at 877-523-7782 for details.

In addition, suppliers will have an opportunity to showcase their products and services during an evening trade event for all attendees.
