Setra Systems, Inc. has introduced the Model 546 and Model 547 strain gauge pressure transducers. Rugged submersible or general purpose type enclosures, including optional intrinsic safe explosion protection and laboratory-type pressure measurement with 5:1 turndown from 25 to 125 percent of full range, make these units ideal for high overpressure applications. These models are ideal for applications such as off-highway vehicles, off-shore and marine (ABS Certified), natural gas equipment, petrochemical, semiconductor processing, power plants, flood warning, HVAC-compressor, refrigeration and robotics. Using thin film strain gauge technology, the Models 546/547 have a 4 to 20 mA output, 0.1 percent full scale accuracy, high overpressure capability, choice of absolute, gauge, or sealed gauge datum with pressure ranges from 10 psi up to 10,000 psi. The compensated temperature range is from -13 degrees F up to +167 degrees F.
