Sorbent Spaghetti is a filter media that is produced from 100% melt-blown polypropylene microfibers. The product can absorb up to 15 times its own weight in oils while being hydrophobic. For optimum filtering performance, Spaghetti is best used in situations where petroleum-based fluids are to be separated from aqueous solutions or moist air. As its name implies, the product consists of thin strands of polypropylene microfibers. It can be placed in a variety of settings, such as piping, cartridges, cases or netting.
