HomeSphere, a provider of e-commerce, collaboration, bid management, and software buyer incentive programs for the homebuilding industry, has announced the appointment of Glenn M. Renner as senior vice president of Sales and Marketing. This appointment closely follows last month's appointment of Andy Murray as senior vice president and CEO. Both appointments are elements of HomeSphere's aggressive growth campaign, fueled by record internal growth in multiple company sectors, and a recent $1 million private placement of venture capital. Renner joins HomeSphere from the global paint and coatings industry leader Sherwin-Williams, where he served as vice president, Architectural Marketing from their Cleveland, OH offices. Renner has seventeen years experience at Sherwin-Williams serving in a variety of sales and marketing management positions. "Glenn has the background and experience that perfectly matched our need to create, execute and manage aggressive growth campaigns through sales and marketing," said Jim Waldrop, HomeSphere's CEO. "This appointment was made after a long search and careful examination of how HomeSphere can fully exploit our leadership position in software and services to the residential homebuilding industry. We are delighted Glass has joined us."
