WASHINGTON — The American
Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) announced the availability of
a Laboratory Capability Referral Network. Nineteen of the top independent automotive laboratories throughout the United States have collaborated on a detailed reference document outlining their specialized capabilities.
The participating member laboratories have identified areas of
expertise that include, but are not
limited to, materials testing, non-destructive testing, engineering design and prototyping, failure analysis, safety testing, electrical and mechanical testing, environmental simulation, vehicle testing, and accreditation.
